(More customer reviews)This product is an expansion for the core game Formula D and not a stand-alone product. It adds two additional grand prix tracks (one on either side of the game board) to the base game. While you can play the street racing rules on any course, neither of these tracks were expressly designed for that purpose. The Hockenheim track is based on the actual track in Germany (however, I cannot attest to its authenticity), whereas the Valencia, Spain one is fictitious.
If you like Formula D, you really can't go wrong with these tracks. I initially didn't feel the need for more tracks but after a while found I wanted more of a variety to mix things up. The boards are of the same quality and art style as the base game so they are durable and look very nice. I do think they are a little overpriced, especially since they only come in a sleeve and not an actual box to store it, but I knew that going in and still felt it was worth it.
