(More customer reviews)I got one of these from my sister, who used them at her museum for children's projects. I use mine to hold all of my sewing patterns...it's a great little box and even though it's only cardboard, it's very sturdy. I've had mine for years and used it often and only now is it worn out, after being used as a scratching post by my cats.
It's a cute little box to hold small items, prizes and toys in, or just as a nice theme decoration for a pirate party for your child, or to hold candy for trick-or-treaters at Halloween. It's of a good medium size, enough to hold maybe thirty full-size magazines in it.
Bear in mind that it IS cardboard, so probably not suited for daily rough handling by very small children, like in a preschool setting. But for older kids or for adults who like the whimsical design, it's a nice box for storage!
