(More customer reviews)Perfect Sense is a game that came out around late 2008. I finally got around to introducing it to my gaming group and brought it to a game convention. It got a thumbs up from just about everyone. Here's how it works.
There's five clues on each card to a subject. The clues are based on the five senses (sight, sound, taste, touch and smell) and are presented in a rhyming verse, a la Dr. Seuss. Example: Touch - I can be white, blue or green. Rub me on and I'll make you clean. Taste - I taste awful, there's no doubt. Say a bad word, I might get put in your mouth. Answer: a bar of soap (or just soap). The less clues you use, the more you advance on the board. Getting the subject on one clue moves you five spaces, using all five clues moves you one space. A special die determines which clue will be read to you first. The first player to reach the finish space wins.
I came up with a rule not in the game. Anyone who fails to get the answer in five clues stays where they are on the board, but everyone else moves a space ahead. Overall, a fun family game.
