(More customer reviews)For the price, this set is terrible. Wood siding holding pieces in place after they are removed from play fell apart before we even played - not nailed in properly. It appears to be warped as well. Felt seems like it might peel off at the slightest provocation, and plastic outer & triangular point markers don't even look like leatherette, let alone leather (not that I expected leather, but imitation leather should at least try to look & feel the part, not imitate plastic)! I wouldn't mind so much if the price had been around $25 but the quality was definitely not on par with the $50 price tag I paid. It's really no better than the inexpensive travel sets made, only it's bigger, cheaply made & a lot more expensive.
Backgammon is a great game so I will give this 2 stars, because at least we can play the game on the board. I regret not shopping around more. I thought I had, but apparently not well enough!
