(More customer reviews)I bought this travel chess set for my son to take to college. He was ecstatic--especially because it came with a tournament clock. The pieces have a nice weight to them and the vinyl chess board's squares are large enough so the play doesn't feel cramped. He loves the set. Unfortunately, he accidentally stepped on the board and it left a footprint mark which we can't remove. It suggests to me that the pattern was silkscreened on and some of the coloring got smudged off. Otherwise, it's a wonderful set and we would highly recommend it. The bag it comes in also looks very professional and seems to be quite sturdy--an added bonus!
