(More customer reviews)This was plenty of fun for our family. We like word games, we like to encourage playing games in the car (as opposed to fighting or watching movies :) ), and we have an extensive vocabulary. That made this game a good match for us.
The categories are varied and the rules are simple. In fact the rules are very fluid -- you can play this many different ways -- as an individual, as a group, on paper, etc. The way we chose to play is to pick a category from the cards -- One of my favorites: "Things that jiggle" -- and then we all take turns naming something out loud that fits in that category, the last person that can still come up with something is the winner and gets to pick the next category.
Before I made this purchase I thought .... do I really need a set of cards to play this game??? Well, lets be honest -- no you don't really, you could just make up categories on your own. However, when you are tired and on a long trip, and you can just flip to a card instead of trying to come up with a category on your own ... it makes it a little easier. And when you can pull out the ring of cards and announce "We're going to play Namits!" It sounds a little bit more fun and makes people more willing to participate.

Portable, fun, educational game on a ring. No paper or table required - brilliantly simple. Created by a mom of 7 to entertain and teach her kids. Perfect for fun on the go - play anytime, anywhere. Waterproof, tear proof plastic cards. The object of the game is to name as many things in one category as possible.
