(More customer reviews)My children received a whole bunch of games for Christmas this year including Blink, Blink Game The Great States Game,
Great States GameCoo Coo the Clown, CooCoo the Rocking Clown GameFrog Juice, Frog JuiceStare, STARE! JUNIOR Game - 2nd Edition Pattern Play Pattern Playand this one.
This was the game that rose to the top of the list for my children. My son is almost five and my daughter is almost eight years old. My son is not yet reading.
There are 150 action cards with four items on each, four different type of team stickers and a rule booklet inside a plastic bucket with a hinge-top type lid.
I personally don't care for the practice of making craft items with food and this game suggests making several different items out of pasta. We just used markers, crayons and paper instead. We also made other adjustments to make it work for us and we didn't keep score.
I liked that my kids worked together to find the items on the cards and perform the tasks on them. This would be fun for a large group to play with teams but it also was fun for just two children. They took it to Grandma and Grandpa's house after Christmas and played with them as well.
We'd made it through ten or twelve cards before I discovered something I thought was strange. One of the items to do on the card was 'Throw a piece of baloney at a team-mate's forehead. You have 3 chances to make it stick.' Now, I have several objections to this as you might imagine...and I can only hope that there aren't anymore of these kinds of requests. But overall I thought that this was a good activity to keep my children busy for a while.
