(More customer reviews)My wife and I play scrabble regularly. We started using Super Scrabble instead of the standard game a couple of years ago and reallly love it. The only problem was that since the game is twice the size of the original scrabble, it took us more than one sitting to finish a game. The standard flat board was easily bumped and often our games were ruined by someone bumping the board. I even contacted the Scrabble people to see if I could get a deluxe board (with the rails) 2 years ago and was told that it was not being made...
and NOW here it is. no more ruined games from someone bumping the board!
We love the Deluxe game.
Only (minor) problem is the seam where the board folds does not always lie flat so the letters in that column can move around.
all in all, a wonderful addition to the scrabble game.

Why pay double the price when it is in stock there? You can also frequently find coupons for free shipping and 10-25% off as well. I love Amazon but some of the people who sell products on through Amazon are pathetically over-priced.

Scrabble Platinum Edition with Rotating Board Review

(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure about the board initially but when we got it my daughter and I have a ball with it. The easy turntable makes it so much more fun. It's a beautiful board. It's great it came as Atlanta had a nice little snow storm so it took a little longer to get here but we got it in great timing and even in contacting the seller they responded and attempted to help as best they could. (More customer reviews)I know that my love for the game of scrabble may be jading my true opinion of this product. This is my very first scrabble board game. It was a wonderful "just because I love you" gift from my husband. This is not the board that I would have chosen but I don't think he knew which one to get. He thought that it would be nice because the tiles are supposed to stay in place. Well I have no idea why the call it tile lock because the tiles don't lock. In fact they can move around quite a bit. Plus the board does it cheaply made. If you want a cheaper Scrabble board then this one will do. But I would recommend spending a little more and getting one that folds up or one with the original wooden tiles.
