(More customer reviews)Be smarter than I was if you order this score pad!! My family loves the Chicken Foot and Mexican Train games, and we had used up our score pads. I thought it would be a fun little thing to add on to another purchase I was making on Amazon, so 'splurged' on the $4.88 score pad. I was astonished when UPS pulled up with a good sized box from the game company. The box was 12 x 12 x 5, stuffed with paper, and lost inside all that space was the little pack of 5 x 7 score cards. I *should* have not been in a hurry that night and taken more time to notice it was not included in my free shipping items. So just be smarter and know that it will cost you $9.12 to have this item, with shipping almost equal to the cost of the pad itself. With 50 sheets on the pad, it is almost 20 cents per sheet of score card. Not very 'green' to have UPS come deliver a box for an item that weighs just 3 ounces and could easily fit in an envelope. Won't make this mistake again!

(More customer reviews)I highly recommend this toy for its interactive, intelligent fun that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There is a good mix of randomness and skill so no one is guaranteed to win, no matter what their skill level. There is also enough strategy to keep you on your toes.
We play it with our kids and other kids and it's a game that keeps them involved and entertained (which becomes more of a challenge as they enter those "interesting" teenage years).
Also, the Fundex version of the game is a very high quality set, which is not always the case with others' products. We played with another set from another manufacturer and it had two 12 / blank tiles, a serious issue when there is only supposed to be one of each tile version.

The color dots are all nicely painted with no smearing on any of them, unlike a cheaper set I had bought from Target. Spend a little more but get great quality.

(More customer reviews)My brother bought a Mexican Train Dominoes set for my step-daughter two years ago and we'd never learned how to play it. While visiting family this year for Christmas we finally learned how to play and were instantly hooked. I came back home and dragged out the set my brother had bought and thanks to a friend's toddlers who were playing with it one day it was already missing half of the trains. It also had a boring hub that didn't make any cool train noises like my nephew's set that we'd learned on at Christmas. This Hub set is very cool. It makes realistic train noises when you press down in the center of the hub, and I love the toy train track look of the hub itself...way better than my old one - flimsy, flat piece of plastic with sharp edges. The trains are also designed with a leg on the back that rests on a lip on the hub so they stay put better during play. I wasn't crazy about the trains themselves because they're translucent with silver glitter in them, but my 11-year-old step-daughter thinks they're pretty so I guess I can live with them. I wish the set would have come with some score pads, because my original set didn't come with any, but I just created my own on the computer and can print them out as I need them.

(More customer reviews)A little disapointed, the original Mexican train set in the aluminum case had the nice 3/8" thick dominoes that stood on edge well (important part of playing the game) this one has everything else the same but comes with the thin 1/4" dominoes that can fall over easy. My fault for not asking and assuming it was original(there was no size spec. in the add) but still a little ??? on there part.
