(More customer reviews)If you're an engaged parent that already reads to your child then this product isn't going to help you. It comes with a few books, some flashcards, and a CD of music. There is no phonics learning in this kit.
My 2.5 year old already has a few hundred books, we already read to her twice a day, and we do active reading by asking her questions about the book and the pictures. That's the extent of what the parents guide is going to tell you.
Save your money, buy some board books, and wait until your child is ready for one of the older kits that actually has some phonics learning in it.
