(More customer reviews)This is a very cool, easy-to-travel-with toy for young ones. I had tried the original "Buddha board" and really liked it, but it uses a brush and a water tray, which makes it a bit more difficult to use with a really young child. The appeal of the Water Wizard is that your child can practice literacy skills (writing) without any mess. The water wizard uses a water "pen", which more closely approximates a writing pen. Whatever you write on the board, though, dries much faster than if you were using a brush and water. However, you could easily use this board with a small paint brush and it would probably work more like the Buddha board.
