Legitimacy Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)A great game for older kids, and should go down well with students and young adults as well. Lots of fun to play. Players move around the board fulfilling quests and collecting an entourage of strange creatures and magical spells. The idea is to be the first back home with 3 crown jewels. You can either find them yourself or even better try and steal them from your opponents. Game has a unique mechanic that causes players to change their alignment from 'good' to 'evil' and vice-versa depending on their actions. Kids love it and seem to pick it up very quickly. Older players often seem to have more trouble getting to grips with it, and I probably wouldn't recommend it to the over 80's :)
It's not quite like anything else and it involves a lot of back-stabbing, intense dice rolling and unpleasant reversals of fortune. The game's theme involves a little innuendo, but nothing that would be inappropriate for the manufacturers suggested age range of 13+. Personally I don't think younger kids would even pick up on it, but prudes beware!
