(More customer reviews)We were excited to get this game for Christmas, but quickly found that the "simple" rules are just too simple to really make complete sense. However, the biggest problem is that the questions are just too easy for adults and yet not necessarily the kind of information that kids would know. For example, a high level question, for $200, is: "Named for igloo-dwelling residents, what greeting is performed by rubbing noses?" (answer: Eskimo kiss). That's about as hard as they get and therefore, no need for the "strike" cards...no one has been tossed out of a cab yet. We will continue to play the game with our kids (ages 8 and 11), but we might need to make up a few rules of our own to make it more of a fun challenge.
We're hoping for a DVD version of this game where we can feel like we've just hopped into the real Cash Cab and are actually meeting our favorite game host as he throws questions back over his shoulder while navigating the streets of NYC! Now that would be fun!
