(More customer reviews)The picture and description of this item on the Amazon website clearly specify that the chess board is green with contrasting light and dark orange squares. It looks really attractive and more to the point it was going to match the color scheme of my son's Fame Slayer chess pieces. But the shipped board is hideous, it has a dark brown outer colour and cream and brown squares, but the woodstain looked like it was applied by a teenager with severe eyesight problems. The stain is irregular and one quarter of the board looks like the stain pot fell on it and someone tried to clean it up, it is all dark and murky and totally ruins the board.
This is the second or third time I have tried to purchase something from CSN Stores. Half the time they take your money and then tell you the item (which was shipping direct from the manufacturer) is unavailable. But you have to contact them to find this out because they have zero customer service. There is also no phone number on Amazon to contact this seller. Always a sign of a dubious seller.
