Mix Up Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This game is simple, but challenging. Lots of fun, but quick to play. My son has a head injury. We bought it to promote cognitive flexibility in a fun way. Like Connect Four, you have to get 4 in a row, but in this game, one player is shapes, the other is colors. It requires considerable focus to two different kinds of information simultaneously. Very challenging even without a cognitive impairment! If you like this game, I recommend you get the card game "Blink". Very similar, but faster paced. This game is portable too. The dominoe-like pieces store in the back of the game.

In MixUp one player tries to win using the shapes, while the other player uses the colors. The first player to get four tiles in a row, or into a two-by-two square, wins. But take a good look— what first appears like a winning strategy could actually be helping your opponent! This illusive two-player strategy game takes only seconds to learn and minutes to play.
