(More customer reviews)I bought this game in a set of 3 - Toy Story checkers, bingo, and Rummy/War card games - for $5 at a store called Ocean State Job Lot.
The board is nothing more than flimsy cardboard, cut unevenly so that it may be folded up for storage. The checkers are thin plastic, and you have to put the stickers on (Woody, and disappointingly, the Slinky Dog - Buzz or Rex or Hamm would have been better).
The best part is the colorful box it all comes in - with Buzz Lightyear smiling encouragingly.
If I had paid any more for the set I would have been disappointed, but I knew I'd get what I paid for, so I was pleased with the purchase. It still functions just fine as a checker board, and if the popular characters encourage kids to learn the game, then it's well worth it.
