(More customer reviews)The backboard is more lightweight than the description led me to believe. The visible surface has a felt covering, and feels to be made of stiff styrafoam. It's backed by what seems to be no more than thin pressboard. In addition, it mounts by hanging off of your dartboard. Good or bad, I don't know. But you'd better make sure that your board is in the wall pretty securely if you're going to hang this extra weight off it.
