Measuring 16" square the crown checker set is a classic coffee table game.The board is finished in an antique brown. The checkers are plain on one side and have an engraved crown on the other.Start with the plain side up and when the piece is kinged then flip the piece over to show the crown.The 1 1/2" high edge helps keep the pieces on the board even when not in play, or keep the pieces in the storage pouch provided.
