(More customer reviews)In the 1930s I loved a Happy Families card game based on the National Gallery of London and began a lifelong interest in art. In the 1970s my family learnt to love Masterpiece (UK version), with the increased excitement of the luck, bluff and craft of the auction room. We found we could swap the pictures for other sets of our own choice. In 2010 I have acquired an original American version with yet another set of paintings from Chicago, and the new generation of American grandchildren are learning to enjoy good pictures in their own right, whether branded by the market as forgeries or worth a million dollars.
