(More customer reviews)As someone who loves word games, I'm always looking for something new. Take a Letter fits the bill, because it incorporates many different challenges into one game. There's a board game aspect of rolling the dice, moving around, and trying to collect the letters you need. There's a Scrabble-like strategy component of placing your words on the board to score the most points. There's the chance to steal letters or cards from other players. And what I find the most interesting is that there are cards that give you different ways to score points by making words that meet certain criteria - for example, 10 points for a 3 letter word, 50 points to play a Q, or 75 points for a word ending in ING. For anyone who has gotten tired of the same old word games, Take a Letter is a welcome new challenge.
