Fairy Dust Review

(More customer reviews)At first our gaming group loved the addition of the fairy cards--they give incentive for people to help, they're cool, most of them have really great abilities (including the "i win" card--charmed circle--which pretty much lets you win the game if you save it until your lvl 10 monster fight), and they're shiny and pink. It wasn't long, however, before they ruined our games' economy. Before, you could swindle 2 choice treasures out of someone for aid in the game. Now, there's always one guy in the game who offers aid for free, just to get the fairy card. Now everyone has to help for free and never gain treasures or offer help for a price and be denied every time. Advantages and disadvantages to playing the fairy cards--depends on your group. Worth the price to find out though.

Meet the Sparkly Good Fairy. She wants all the munchkins to play nice, and she's willing to bash heads to make sure they do. Play her way, and she'll bribe you with Fairy Dust. Otherwise, you might end up fighting her instead. And if you don't take her out, she'll be back again and again . . .Fairy Dust is a 15-card expansion for classic Munchkin . It introduces the Sparkly Good Fairy and her deck of Fairy Dust cards -- extra rewards for munchkins who are willing to help each other. (It's perfectly munchkinly to be nice . . . as long as you get something cool for doing it!) Every card in the set is full-color, with added glittery pink and silver Fairy Dust.
